In the previous millennium the invention that brought about the most significant changes in Christianity was the printing press. Invented by Johannes Gutenberg in 1450, the printing press made the mass publication and circulation of religious literature possible. It empowered the reformers to enlighten the biblically illiterate to God's will. In time, men like Alexander Campbell used the printing press to spread the message of the Restoration Movement.

The invention that will most significantly impact our age is the internet-connected computer. Just as the pamphlets and essays of years gone by has changed religion in the western world, so Bible studies available on the internet will change religion in our world.

It is my dream to provide the curious and the seeker a web site to which they can watch a presentation of the gospel and study my "What Matters" evangelism lessons online. Digital video streaming technology makes it possible to teach millions worldwide the good news of Jesus with a few clicks of their mouse. This can be done "24/7," anytime and almost anywhere.

The Restoration is still a movement and God wants us to press on into all the world making disciples. Just as the Julie Miller filmstrips and the World Bible Correspondence Course have converted countless cherished souls, it is my vision that people will be able to log on and watch a 'What Matters' sermon and also find the freedom that only Christ provides.
